[CAT]

Y su primer disco se llama “Landscape of your brain”.

[ENG]

Macrobukkake is not anything of what seems but simultaneously it it is quite. It is not hip-hop but yes it is hip-hop. It is not dub but it is. Not even pop. Not even electronics. Not even Caribbean jazz. Or yes. Macrobukkake is the invented language that they have created together paint artist David Cabello and the musician Oscar Martorell (Sanjays). Their first album is called Landscape of your brain.

An adventure filled with psychedelia where rock and electronics hold hands, generating danceable hits as Diverparty in Detroit, Michigan , Where is the pavillion? or Birth Date, next to impossible ballads (Mango juice) or astral trips (To my dog).

Besides Martorell and Cabello, the album hasbeen recorded by members who also form the live band (Pau Giralt, Natán Arbó and Nil Bribián) and also Genís Bou’s saxo (The Gramophone Allstars) in the perturbating April.

An album where Gang Gang Dances mashes up Adrian Sherwood while John Frusciante takes the tea with Omar Rodríguez.an album made to dance with both head and feet, done without another pretension that the self enjoyment of the band, a disc as peculiar as the prominent figures who live it. The perfect soundtrack for the series The Red Dwarf , as Primal Scream did with Vanishing
point from Richard C. Safarian.
